President and COO - Larry Wyatt, PhD, has 30+ years of experience in food safety, food quality and food production. He has a strong microbiology background, and has worked with elimination of pathogens from major products at manufacturing facilities. He has also worked with two major restaurant companies in the role of quality and food safety. He provides the aggressive link between the process floor and the process floor automation.
Executive Vice President and CTO - Jose Quintana, is the founder of FoodHorizon Inc. and brings over 25 years of programming and business development into play. His previous work has been with Fortune 100 companies such as Disney, Novatis, Nokia, Sun and a list of many others. He has provided a program that allows specific configuration for each customer.

FoodHorizon utilizes different DAQ's (Data Aquisition Unit) to collect
data from the processing floor and get it where it can be viewed, where it
can provide alerts as needed, where it can feed other programs such as MRP's
and ERP's and accounting systems.
A DAQ may be a PDA, a laptop, a desktop, a little black box with no screen
or keyboard, or a mobile, stainless steel, touch screen, wireless kiosk.
There are numerous ways to move data from location to an end point and make
it usable. FoodHorizon makes the most of the technology industry available
and provides a unique plan for each operation. One size does not fit all.
FoodHorizon provides an overall solution, not just software.
The data is analyzed and sent to the on-site server or via the Internet to a
secure database and presented on a secure web browser. Alarms and alerts are
in the system. If pre-set limits are surpassed, email, cell phone and email
pagers will be called as well as automatic Corrective Action forms popping
up on the handheld and homepage. The data is available Real-Time.
Islands of Information
There is much information that may currently be an "island of information"
within a processing facility. This is data that is available on the monitor
of a piece of equipment, or on a single computer in the maintenance office,
or on a PLC. This data can be transferred from its island to the central web
site for a Sentry9000 system. It is then available for review by the
management team at will and can be viewed in conjunction with the entire
plant's operation.
